This business was created a few years back. Tyler Plant took a scrap piece of wood that was left over from the deck his father built one day and started drawing stuff on it. He drew the St. Louis Cardinals on it with an arch in the background. He then cut it out with a $15 jig saw and painted it with some leftover craft paint from his mothers craft box. He posted a picture of it on Facebook one day and people loved it. Someone asked him if he would be willing to make something for them... then it just took off from that point on.
To this day, we have created over 500 Cornhole boards along with many other custom projects. We have never turned down anybody’s project ideas and we would be happy to turn your idea into a reality. We want to thank each and everyone of you for the continued support of this small business.
In addition to my wood-working business, I am a full-time nurse at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL:
The 2x4's for Hope organization builds fully-furnished tiny homes and donates them to homeless veterans in need. Through a partnership with 2x4's for Hope, we build and donate a hand-crafted wooden American Flag to hang on the wall of every tiny home.
To support this tradition of donating flags, a significant portion of the profits from the flags we sell to regular customers goes towards the costs of the donated flags. When you buy a wooden flag from us, your money goes towards the purchase of a donated flag.
My goal is for every tiny home constructed in my area to have one of these wooden American flags.
